We do a fair bit of programming at conference level. We present a good number of events each year. Two big reasons they are so well attended and enthusiastically embraced is the commitment of the youth pastors, workers and sponsors in our congregations to present the full Gospel of Jesus to our youth and the openess and excitement of our youth to accept the challenge and the call. This is what inspires me. | | | Coming Events - June 14-17 - Walk a Mile - Youth Service/Learning Event. A three day immersion in southern Cheyenne Christian culture, open to 25 high school youth. | | |  "The most encouraging thing for me is the growth of leadership in the Dallas-area youth. Late last fall, two young people said they wanted to come together as one youth group instead of a bunch of little groups doing their own thing. They went to their pastors and asked for support ot start a once-a-month youth worship service. Youth are now asking for more training in evangelism, outreach, and leadership. It's growing and it's exciting. The worship service is very energentic and will be hosted on a rotating basis among the eight churches in Dallas. The Texas Youth Ministry leadership committee consists of youth from about seven countries (Nicaraqua, El Salvador, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Buatemala, USA) and it's dynamic. They want to learn the Jesus way--now!"
